Jared Polis Live-Blog: Tomorrow (Thur) at 12:30 Eastern; Darcy Burner on Friday
Quick announcements - tomorrow (Thursday) at 12:30pm Eastern, Jared Polis will be here at Future Majority live-blogging. Darcy Burner, running for Congress in Washington's 8th district, will be here on Friday at 2pm.
Elected to the Colorado Board of Education at the age of 25, Jared Polis is no stranger to the challenges facing young people in politics. Now, at 33, he's running for Colorado's 2nd Congressional district. He'll be here for about an hour to talk about the challenges of running as a young candidate, what he's doing to reach out to Colorado youth, and his plans for tackling price gouging at the pump - an issue I'm sure resonates with all of us.
Darcy Burner is currently competing in Democrats Work's "Serve with the General Contest." Darcy will be here to talk youth politics and make her case for why you should send General Clark to campaign in her district.
Please spread the word about both of these events.
