ACORN Fake Fraud Update: Larry King
To see the whole story on this see previous blog here
Friday Night on Larry King both conservatives Joe "Pags" Pagliarulo and Jonah Goldberg say that ACORN is lying about their actions in registering voters.
Once again - ACORN is required by law to turn in every voter registration form. They flag the ones they believe are not real or accurate, and ACORN stated before this video was cut that they went so far as to communicate to these BOE's what was going on.
The ACORN spokesperson also said that every two weeks ACORN turns in voter registration forms, so the fact that these folks are just now coming out with there being "problems" is suspect because the most recent registration documents are only the last two weeks - so how is it that they have such HUGE stacks of people from way back when that they are only NOW beginning to talk about?

My first reaction is that this is what happens when you pay people on some kind of quota or commission basis to register voters. It looks to me like some temp worker filled out a bunch of fake registrations in order to get his/her paycheck. There's no indication that any kind of actual voter fraud is underway or even possible. For that to happen, you'd need 100s of people to show up and vote multiple times under all these questionable registrations.
That said, the dodgy response from ACORN (closed offices, etc) doesn't look especially great.
Someone kinda said that on
Someone kinda said that on my reddit post and I thought it was a good thing to mention.
As for the voter fraud - that's the major thing to talk about. Even if by some miracle Donald Duck made it on the voter rolls there is no way he'd be able to cast a vote.... no way. So its not voter fraud.
Further - my assumption is that the dodgy responses are possibly due to the fact that the deadline to register in these states has come and gone. Those people aren't employed anymore, or they are employed somewhere else. So they might actually not be there.
And Finally, the fact that these BOE's are being bitchy about having to do their jobs is bothersome. This is what they are supposed to do for a living... its their jobs... stop bitching about doing your job, this is what you signed up for!
