Animal Cruelty

Are you a vegetarian? If not, why? As a 26 year old running for a seat, you must be aware of the cruelty that takes place in slaughter houses. Chickens, cows, and pigs are torture for meat. The Latino population is one of the biggest meat eating groups. But forgetting about the rights of animals, let’s talk about health. Eating meat is one of the major causes of heart problems and obesity. What do you plan on doing being that you are young and you are aware of the problem? Latinos are the highest population being obese. What do you propose to do about this?

Come back later

Emanuel will be answering questions starting at 7pm PACIFIC time tonight. Please come back then with your questions.

on Education

Emanuel, once again - my admiration for your work and commitment to public service.

I would like to hear your views on the state of public K-12 education and some concrete steps you are prepared to take toward improvement.

You yourself have an impressive resume and a path worthy of serving as a role model. How can we get more kids from district-32 to emulate your steps?

Thank you
